BIOPROP® is a plant-based proppant made from renewable sources with a much lower environmental footprint as compared to traditional sand, bauxite, and ceramic proppants.

  • Pumping with low-viscosity, low-polymer charge frack fluids translates into lower cost and lower formation damage;
  • Better distribution along the fracture leading to improved conductivity;
  • Facilitates frac fluid flowback in unconventional gas formations due to low polymer loading;
  • Lower pressure and flow promotes use of gravel pack pumping in extended reach and long horizontal wells considerably widening the operational window for pressure treatment;
  • Allows lower-pressure Gravel-Pack pumping in horizontal wells fitted with injection control devices (ICDs)
